Car show in Blue Valley Park

Pictured below is Pastor Efrian  Gonzalez “Kansas City Restoration Church” 1208 Belmont Kansas City. MO 64126. He was the visionary behind the car show you are about see. He partnered with A.C.T.S. Tent Ministries along with several other local ministries. We had a out door church service this morning followed by a concert by LIGHTWALKER. The whole afternoon was filled with testimonies about people delivered from a hard life of drugs and crime. More music and contest’s made the heat bearable.

I first heard of the event at our inner city prayer meeting at 2732 Forest Ave Kansas City sponsored by Hope City and hosted by Pastor Ray Mabian. Dianna and I went this morning and it was amazing. A guest speaker from Oklahoma City Pastor Peter Vasquez spoke and said we were to be a VOICE CRYING OUT IN THE GHETTO. let me just say, something just went off like fireworks on the inside of me. Oh that every city in America had prophetic voices crying out from their Ghetto’s. One thing’s for real, in the Ghetto NO ONE plays church either you have God or you go home licking your wounds. As I left for the day I had a gigantic yes in my heart.

John the Baptist quoted Isaiah 40:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. There comes a time when you know your call, your wilderness, and your message and all that is left is to CRY OUT.

If you are sitting in your suburb Christian easychair having a hard time staying awake shake it off and begin to build relationships in the inner city. Wow, that is a little rough. YIP, and if you don’t know where to start well start at the right place. PRAYER

I was recently ministering at Global Harvest Church In northern Indiana. I had meet the Pastor, Billy Bope in Kampala Uganda in 2001. We ran into each other again in Entebbe Uganda several years later and decided maybe the Lord had plans for us to work together. We combined our mission teams the next year and had a great outreach. We found out we had both been working with the same pastor and taking care of the same widow and family as well. Since that great trip His family visits us in Kansas city and I drive up to North Judson Indiana.

This trip up I was speaking about the seasons of the Lord and that we were due a season change. I was speaking about the mantle being pasted from Elijah to Elisha and that the church was in such a transitional season. I was relating How John the baptist was in a transitional time between the old covenant and the new covenant. It struck me how John The baptist saw the confirmation that Jesus was the messiah and had declared so previously and yet now questions it in prison.

Matthew 11:1-6 1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? 4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

I believe more than anything it was that John was living between the seasons of God, the seasons being law and grace. We had a great time Saturday night praying until late and we all had great expectation that the Lord was going to do something really awesome Sunday morning. As we were closing I said tomorrow the Lord was going to bring us a new season. During the worship we had a spontaneous move of God and people began to come to the alter to pray. After about 10 minutes a young lady came up to except Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour and Her name was Autumn. Inside I was so excited first because it is exciting when someone excepts Christ, second I have a granddaughter named Autumn, and because the New Season, “Autumn”. The season is evanglism, the harvest is white the harvest is now.,

We all prayed for Her again before I began to preach. As I was dealing with the frustration of living between seasons it hit me that this church was smack dab in the middle of two time zones central and eastern. Some of the congregation was from Knox which was 10 miles north and some were from Winamac 10 miles south. Everything the church planed would cause an issue to someone so they had just changed their services time to the half an hour to make it easier for both zones. As I began to speak about the frustration it was like the Lord turned on a light bulb for all of us.

Here is the frustration, we the church live in a world where the kingdom of God is breaking in but will not fully break in until Jesus comes. The thing is, not until then will all the enemies like death, sickness, and evil be permanently dealt with. This little trip was a great encouragement from the Lord. The lesson is Press In beyond your frustrations keep praying for the sick, keep preaching the gospel keep walking the walk and talking the talk. We are in the last days and the dark gets darker and the light gets lighter and the gray just goes away.   Let Your Light Shine !!

Matthew 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2 Cor 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, and at the same time He was a man’s Man. During His 33 years on the planet He created He related to real every day people and knew how to get to Them. My favorite hook He used was that of the fisherman. Jesus was calling these rough young fisherman to be become His disciples and He caught them with a word picture they could understand “I will make you fishers of Men”.

Mark 1:14-18, 14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. 18 And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

Let me tell you how Jesus hooked me the same way. It started back with John William Gross my grandfather who by trade was a lineman for Kansas city power and light but at heart He was a river rat. From the time I could cast my zebco 33 grandpa went to work teaching me how to tie a knot that wouldn’t break and how to take a hook out of the fishes mouth without getting stuck. Above all He gave me time and attention.

Years later as an adult I was in the back yard working in the garden when our neighbor Denver Stark ventured over and said “the Flathead are moving up grand river”. I told Him I had never fished for Flathead and asked Him if He could teach me how. He did and that lead to the greatest summer of fishing I have ever experienced.

My wife’s cousin Jeff Arnold and I took His canoe up the river with a 5 gallon bucket of live bait fish and limb lines that we tie off on good green limbs. We set our lines and went to make camp. We had just started a fire when we heard what sounded like a deer crossing the river. As we watching the bank up river about 50 yards no deer came in sight. The splashing continued and we thought oh no that poor deer got tangled in our line. We jumped in the canoe and paddled away. It was just getting dark and the green limb was under water. I leaned over the side and found the line and lifted it up slowly and then the hardest jerk you can imagine sent my heart into fast mode. I reached for the dip net and 20 minutes later Jeff and I wrestled the Big Cat Fish in the boat. Here is the picture of me with my first of many big cat’s.

Not to far in time from this picture God hooked me. I had been a Christian for about 10 years. I was working with the youth, doing a lot of prayer, writing music, doing jail ministry you know normal Christianity. I had just read a book that had challenged me to ask the Lord if I had any hidden sin issues so deep that I had even hid them from myself. Nothing happened for several weeks then it happened. My wife Dianna had me sit down and told me to brace myself. I was not braced enough. She told me that Her best friend at the time Karen had married my arch enemy Kevin. Karen was a Christian He was not, and She had asked Dianna if I could befriend Him hoping to get Him into church. Dianna had explained there was bad blood between us and that might not be good. I went off, yelling and screaming, then I remembered what I had prayed and could not believe I had so much bitterness built up inside. Even after much prayer and repentance it took two weeks for me to agree to meet with Kevin. We had a meal together, and we both felt uneasy but worked hard, mostly to make the wives happy. We eventually became friends and Kevin starting to come with us to Church and about 6 months later during an alter call He went up. My good friend Steve Lovelace and I prayed with Kevin as He asked Jesus to forgive Him of His sin and asked Him to come into His heart. There was a massive change in lifestyle and we were all so happy. Several weeks later Kevin was killed in a head on collision by an oncoming truck.

You have no idea how glad I am that I asked the Lord to reveal any hidden sin like unforgiveness. I am so glad the Lord was and is faithful and longsuffering. If we want to catch the big fish we MUST lay our nets down and follow Jesus. What an adventure ahead, Happy Fishing.

Let me introduce to you Susie Jones. I was introduced to Her by my Friend Joanne Norton. Susie has great insight for and about the body of Christ. After taking an honest look at the church, world wide we would have to say it is sick and weak and I would add paralyzed. As you read Susie’s life experiences below, I would challenge you to be part of seeing the body of Christ healed by asking Jesus to once again be the head and respond as He leads.
susie-and-grandson.jpg
What are the chances?! I was 22, 2 days shy of my 2nd wedding anniversary and 3 months pregnant. Suddenly the bottom fell out. Car accident, spinal cord injury, paralyzed from the chest down. Bummer! Major, major bummer. But, the good news is, I knew the God that answers prayer. Unfortunately, I didn’t know Him very well. Fortunately, He knew me extremely well … as in, “For it was you who formed my inward parts.” And He wanted me to know Him well.  Lots to learn, lots and lots to learn. And I have, and I will continue to do so. Learn that is. But it isn’t always easy.
You’re more than likely familiar with 1 Cor. 12:25-26 The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don’t, 26 the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance. My body serves well as an object lesson for that verse. My head and arms are still very much intact. But it takes the whole of the body, working together, to achieve maximum health and well-being. What happens when the whole becomes the fraction? Think 2/3 paralyzed; 1/3 not. Well, at times, chaos reigns.
The head (brain) continues to send signals to the entire body. But the message is short-circuited. It is either garbled or doesn’t get through at all.  Surface feeling is lost, and you are no longer aware of those things that would threaten to bring harm to your body. The cat may scratch; you’re not aware. You stay in one position too long and the blood supply is cut off and sores develop; you’re not aware. Bones that don’t meet resistance become porous and weak. Muscles in one part of the body overcompensate for muscles that are no longer functional. One becomes taxed; the other becomes atrophied. There are times when my body is at war with itself. The very organs that are designed to eliminate the bad, the toxic, the waste become an “aider and abettor” … a harbinger of “germ warfare.” The antibiotics you take to heal, kill off both the bad and the good bacteria, and super bugs develop. Soon you are robbing Peter to pay Paul and a cycle develops in which the body may eventually succumb to the “miracles of modern medicine.” No, it doesn’t happen overnight. It is a process. For me, a 40-year process. But then, there is God. That is also a process. A process of learning to trust. A process of learning the ways of a God that delivers, a God that is faithful, a God that heals, a God that walks you through the valley of the shadow when you aren’t even aware that He is present. You’d like a burning bush. It’s more likely to be a still, small voice. There are times when you feel utterly forsaken and you think you’re alone, but you’re not. There are times when you despair of life itself only to discover that He is life, life unlike any other. And there is grace, grace beyond all that you could ask or think or begin to imagine. And there is always his standing invitation, “Come unto Me.”
But hold on a minute. Let’s consider the body of Christ.  We like to refer to it as the church. What happens when that body is cut off from the head which is Christ Jesus? What happens when communication is either not received or it is not received correctly? The body no longer feels the pain of its other members, the more “uncomely parts.”  Wounds develop that aren’t immediately visible, and they rot inwardly until they become visible outwardly. [Think pressure sores … interesting, the word pressure. Whether external or internal the wound is real.] Those same wounds have to be daily debrid and packed to insure that a surface healing doesn’t occur and leave the deeper wound festering inside. What happens when all the body’s members don’t work together to insure wholeness, and one part can’t fulfill its function and the other part becomes dominant and eventually suffers due to excessiveness?  What happens to that body when “sin lurks at the door,” and it is not dealt with in a timely manner? When the “blood” supply is cut off? Well, let’s go back to I Cor 12:14b-24. The Message Bible makes it fairly clear. 14b A body isn’t just a single part blown up into something huge. It’s all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together. 15 If Foot said, “I’m not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don’t belong to this body,” would that make it so? 16 If Ear said, “I’m not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive; I don’t deserve a place on the head,” would you want to remove it from the body? 17 If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? 18 As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it. 19 But I also want you to think about how this keeps your significance from getting blown up into self-importance. For no matter how significant you are, it is only because of what you are a part of. An enormous eye or a gigantic hand wouldn’t be a body, but a monster. 20 What we have is one body with many parts, each its proper size and in its proper place. No part is important on its own. 21 Can you imagine Eye telling Hand, “Get lost; I don’t need you”? Or, Head telling Foot, “You’re fired; your job has been phased out”? 22 As a matter of fact, in practice it works the other way – the “lower” the part, the more basic, and therefore necessary. You can live without an eye, for instance, but not without a stomach. 23 When it’s a part of your own body you are concerned with, it makes no difference whether the part is visible or clothed, higher or lower. You give it dignity and honor just as it is, without comparisons. 24 If anything, you have more concern for the lower parts than the higher. If you had to choose, wouldn’t you prefer good digestion to full-bodied hair?
At age 22, I may have opted for full-bodied hair. But I am older now and hopefully wiser. And good digestion is a good thing – a very good thing, both physically and spiritually. Else how would we digest the “meat,” Paul talks about? The meat of the word. The meat of daily prayer and communing with the Lord. Strong meat.
We are given a commission.  We are told in the gospels to go into the world and  “preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons ….” A fairly straightforward commission. A simple enough plan.  Until we have tweaked the gospel to the point where it is so politically correct that the power, the passion, the life, the salt and the light are not only indistinguishable, they are completely gone. And yes! The blood. The blood without which the natural body has no life. The Blood without which the church body has no life. The shed blood. Let’s remember the message of Romans 1:16 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
It takes a body that is totally dependent on receiving clear communication from the head. It takes a body in which none of the members are cut off from the blood. “This is my blood, shed for you.” Jesus gives the clear command. “Go, and preach the gospel*.
*Mark 16:15-18 – And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

I woke this morning a little overwhelmed. I leave tomorrow with two college students for Uganda east Africa. I think its my 7th trip to Africa and my 6th trip to Uganda. It should be old hat by now but here I am pressing in at the last minute believing for all the pieces to come together while up to now they have not. God is always on time and not to often early. One day I will walk in that, and not just know it with head knowledge. We will be doing interviews and making a documentary so to speak trying to raise funds to build an orphanage with my long term friend Richard Kaaya. That is not the norm for me, I have never done anything like this I usually am handing out bibles and training pastor’s in the bush.

I know from experience that when I get there they will have me speaking and right now I feel a little dry and empty and a that seems when the Lord comes through the strongest, when we are at our weakest. Just being transparent. Back to the point at hand as I struggle to get my day started I keep hearing in my spirit the phrase “If God Be With Us” now I know that in Romans 8:31 it says  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” but that is not what I was hearing so I googled the phrase and picked this post about my hero Leonard Ravenhill : In Judges 6, Gideon is older, and while threshing corn, is fearing an attack of the Midianites. For seven years, the once liberated slaves of Pharaoh had again become captives. Dens and caves were their homes. No longer were they able to sing the Lord’s song. It must have sounded like a fairy tale when that angel appeared to Gideon and informed him, “God is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.” Yet he shot back the answer, “If God be with us, where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of?” This answer makes clear that Gideon was expecting some supernatural evidence. To him, the seal of the Lord’s presence would be something that could not be rationalized.Alas that today there is more evidence of religious sensation before our eyes than evidence of spiritual regeneration and supernatural phenomenon! Not many Christians today can forget the fact that the devil goeth about as a roaring lion, but we seem to have lost sight of the fact that the Lion of the tribe of Judah has defeated the roaring lion of hell, and therefore every anointed Samson or Gideon or church can also slay the lion of hell. Though wicked men are doing wickedly, God’s promise to us is that “the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits” (Daniel 11:32). God pity us that after years of writing, using mountains of paper and rivers of ink, exhausting flashy terminology about the biggest revival meetings in history, we are still faced with gross corruption in every nation, as well as with the most prayerless church age since Pentecost.

Judges 6:12-14 12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. 13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us?and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. 14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Goin this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

Wow I remember the 5 w’s of good journalism who what where why when. God said He is with us, we give the 5 w’s He say’s simply go with no explanation, just GO.

Here we are at the Christmas season no better time to think about Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Jesus paid the ultimate price to be with us and He said in Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

No mater who is against you, or what is happening to you, or where you are, the questions of why is this happening to me, or when will this ever end. If you are Born again and have excepted Jesus as Lord and savior your sin is cast as far as the east is from the west and HE IS WITH YOU take comfort. If not Repent ask God to forgive you , we all have sinned. God the Father sent His Son Jesus to pay the debt for our sin by a brutal death on the cross. He was buried but was raised from the dead and is seated at the Fathers right hand, waiting for you to let Him in, just ask, its that simple. He changed my life, He will yours too. Merry Christmas

Are Apostles for Today?

Even asking that question will polarize the readers. I will be hard pressed to find someone who has been in the faith for anytime at all that is not strongly opinionated one way or the other.

I think it is safe to say that if we are defining an apostle as one who in the natural saw with their eyes and can testify of the resurrection of Jesus Christ its NO.

If a vision or supernatural encounter could be included, such as happened to Saul with blinding light its Yes.

Apostolos: 80 uses in the New Testament King James translates as apostle or messenger . Strongs # 652 defined as a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders That is a very vague definition that’s sounds like what we call a missionary today. Of course missionary is not part of the five fold. NOW I will step on all our toes. No translation uses the term missionary except “the message” and “God’s Word” and if you check on the verses and take them over to greek lexicon you will find no word similar to missionary.

If Missionaries are not mentioned in the Bible then I suggest since every Christian denomination or inter-denomination has them. Our terms must be off. Are missionaries pastors? Yes. Are they evangelists? Yes. Are they teachers? Yes. Do they give up every thing for the gospel? Yes. Do they Birth or multiply churches? Yes. Do they work with their own hands? Yes

I then would say they are messengers sent forth with orders that came from heaven. IF I must use a title found in scripture I’ll use Apostolos. If its ok I’ll just continue to call them missionaries.

So why does everyone have Bishop or Apostle on their business card? God knows. Here is the real question and the one burning in my heart and I will never, never apologize for it. It is this, where are the fathers. In Paul’s own words     1 Cor 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

HAVE YE NOT MANY FATHERS

When I was young in the faith I cried out for God to give me a mentor. God answered me a little differently than I expected. He made one out of me through 40 years in the wilderness condensed into 20 years.

I am borrowing this definition from someone I just don’t know who. A spiritual Father is someone who wants his spiritual child to go further than they themselves will ever go. Putting faith to those words by sowing into their lives carrying them before the thrown of grace until one day the child is walking out their calling in humility, grace and power and the father has no jealousy and bless’s them to move out on their own. I have been put to the test with my natural children and was noticed by some and have been asked to mentor their kids.

I have had great opportunity and with humility I say there is no greater calling. I love to remain hidden and to see others go places I used to dream of. I say YES Go be all that God has called you to be and nothing less.

The Bottom line we don’t need more men and women with Bishop and Apostle on their business cards but what we need are spiritual MOTHERS AND FATHERS.  Malachi 4:5-6  5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Missouri Governor Charles Henry Hardin: Perhaps no better example of the governor’s style of leadership occurred than when the state faced the devastation of the 1875 grasshopper plague. Thousands of Missouri farmers, saw their crops eaten away by insects. State Entomologist C. V. Riley, in a letter of May 18, 1875, urged the governor to at least promote the killing of the grasshoppers by authorizing a bounty for them: “Have you not power to offer a small premium on the part of the State for every bushel of young grasshoppers destroyed? Such a premium would be a powerful incentive to the more destitute of the people in those districts to destroy the pests and thus avert future injury; and, at the same time give them the means of earning a living until the danger is past.”
Hardin, however, was unwilling to spend any tax money for such a venture, and he responded by proclaiming June 3 “a day of fasting and prayer that Almighty God may be invoked to remove from our midst these impending calamities, and to grant instead the blessings of abundance and plenty.” No doubt Hardin felt vindicated in his approach when, soon after, the grasshoppers left the state and headed north to Iowa.

Ok, that is a good start, when is the last time your heard of one of our nations governors call a day of fasting and prayer. That’s history do a google search or go to to your local library and you will find it is true.

 Show me bible prophecy:

Show me state, show me what? Well it comes from us as a people being stubborn as a Missouri mule not believing anything but, it must be proven. Listen I am Missouri to the core born in Independence in 1961. I still recall my father telling me Harry S Truman used to drive by our house on Truman road. Old Harry from Missouri had that buck stops here show me attitude. He himself was used by God to help the Jews return to Israel and become a nation after 2000 years of not being one.

“The Man From Missouri” Alfred Steinberg writes: The aftermath was, of course, war between the Arabs and Jews. But the new nation held its own. A year later, the Chief Rabbi of Israel… wanted to meet Truman and thank him. [Dave] Niles recalled:”Rabbi Herzog told Truman,”God put you in your mother’s womb so you would be the instrument to bring about the rebirth of Israel after two thousand years.” I thought he was overdoing things, but when I looked over at the President, tears were running down his checks.”

While all these things are true. It is the biblical show me I want to address.

Exodus 33:12-23
12 Moses said to the LORD, “See, thou sayest to me, ‘Bring up this people’; but thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.’ 13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee and find favor in thy sight. Consider too that this nation is thy people.” 14 And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 15 And he said to him, “If thy presence will not go with me, do not carry us up from here. 16 For how shall it be known that I have found favor in thy sight, I and thy people? Is it not in thy going with us, so that we are distinct, I and thy people, from all other people that are upon the face of the earth?” 17 And the LORD said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do; for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” 18 Moses said, “I pray thee, show me thy glory.” 19 And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim before you my name ‘The LORD’; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. 20 But,” he said, “you cannot see my face; for man shall not see me and live.” 21 And the LORD said, “Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand upon the rock; 22 and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by; 23 then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back; but my face shall not be seen.”

Many people including myself believe that Missouri has a destiny to be a place where people come with the “I can not go on with out you God” attitude. The Lord replies with a “I will show you my glory” even as He did Moses, when we take the posture of humility that He did. We are known as a family vacation state with many lakes, caves, bike trails and of course theme parks. They come burdened down and leave exhilarated. Here in Kansas City there is a place called International House of Prayer IHOP. We locals have a saying “dieing to live in Kansas city” people from all over the world come here to experience 24 hour prayer. What actually happens is people come with all their issue and the Lord says this one thing

Galations 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

People either find out to see the Glory of the Lord you have to die, “die to self” or say no I have to much to live for and go on about their busy lives. I have been hanging around here most of my adult life and I find the more I let the Lord deal with kill my evil desires lust pride etc. the more I see His Glory.

Governor Hardin saw the need for our state to pray and fast yet while he is dead his call is still bearing fruit. BELIEVE it or NOT. Harry S Truman is dead and just a few miles away from his old home is a place that is devoted to 24 hour prayer and much of it is for Israel and God end time purposes. I myself live about 2 miles from Truman’s boy hood home and I think about him often. This is what I think, Truman was just a man he was not perfect in fact he was involved in the masonic lodge in all their secrets and who knows what else but this I know, God used Him. I meet Truman’s niece Mary Truman Gracey and she personally told me Truman firmly believe God had raised him up to help establish Israel as a nation.
