In 1981 I went to work as a mechanic for a Jewish man in Oklahoma City named Art Levine. He was very wise and told me to do my job and to visit with the customers but never talk about religion and politics. Over the years of listening to and participating in that very thing, I fully realize Art’s reasoning. They do not mix and are the most polarizing topics in the world.

Last night Lou Engle who is leading a youth movement in prayer asking that Justice would be released from heaven and over ride the lofty idea’s of man. That God would repair the moral fabric of America. Thousands gathered in Washington DC to call on God, and call America back to God. Here in Kansas City IHOP and many other cities across America, Christians gathered to watch Lou and the Kids with standing room only. My hope is that it’s not to little to late as the blood of 50 million unwanted aborted babies cry out from the ground. If you do not believe the Bible is the literal Word of God you will be very angry at those words. Here is what happened when the first murder took place in Genesis

Gen 4:8-10 8 Cain said to Abel his brother, “Let us go out to the field.” And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and killed him. 9 Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know; am I my brother’s keeper?” 10 And the LORD said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.

America is at it’s lowest moral crisis since the civil war. Justice will have it’s way or Judgment will come swiftly as natural disasters have been increasing in America for years now, the writing is on the wall but who is reading it? The Abortion issue is before us, it will not go away closed eyes and ear plugs will not fix our mess. As the prayer of repentance went up from DC something else was happening on the left coast.

Rick Warren held a forum last night with both presidential hopefuls at His ever so popular Saddleback Church.

“We believe in the separation of church and state, but we do not believe in the separation of faith and politics,” Warren said. “I don’t happen to agree with everything either of the candidates teach or believe, but they both care deeply about America. They’re both patriots and they have very different views on how our nation can be strengthened. We’ve got to learn to disagree without demonizing each other and we need to restore civility in our civil discourse and that’s the goal of the Saddleback Civil Forum.”

John McCain and Barack Obama made their Life line of demarcation at the saddleback debate.

Barack Obama : “Whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity . . . is above my pay grade.”

This comes from the man who has voted three times on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act if it is above his pay grade why vote. Just answer the question, Where does life begin?

John McCain answered clearly : “At conception

The bigger story was back with Lou Engle and a nation of young people crying out for mercy and grace for revival, resulting in a national heart change over the abortion issue. It seems new hope is now fueling the prayer movement as McCain has taken a hard line with Life and a vice presidential running mate that is not only super-pro life but with a strong moral fabric.

The moral fabric in which I speak is that of truth and transparency. Sarah Palin is not without spot or wrinkle She is real She is human and She loves God. What I like is Her drive for the life of the not yet born. Even now Her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and love will provide the way for life not death of the baby. Though it changes the future of Her daughter and Her own political fallout.

It is easy to talk about life but changing your life around to make a way for it is another, may our nation follow Her example.

Her life is set before us as a prophetic picture and many people in Alsaka and even here in Kansas City are fighting the good fight in prayer.

The right to the life of the unborn may well be the deciding factor in the election which will have a direct impact on where we are going as a nation. It ain’t over till we hear the birth cry. God has heard it, will we?


Focus on the Family founder James Dobson, released a statement

“We have always encouraged the parents to love and support their children and always advised the girls to see their pregnancies through, even though there will of course be challenges along the way. That is what the Palins are doing, and they should be commended once again for not just talking about their pro-life and pro-family values, but living them out even in the midst of trying circumstances.

“Being a Christian does not mean you’re perfect. Nor does it mean your children are perfect. But it does mean there is forgiveness and restoration when we confess our imperfections to the Lord. I’ve been the beneficiary of that forgiveness and restoration in my own life countless times, as I’m sure the Palins have,”

Not many times in my life have I felt such an inner knowing. It is my hope to treat the subject at hand with great care at the same time with great conviction.

The subject at hand is abortion. The mention of the word will polarize the reader to their fortified positions. I am writing from such a position myself, knowing fire from many camps will be hurled my way yet I must continue on.

Where was the church between those dates, and what were WE doing?

Before those dates how was a pregnant woman with a child born out of wedlock viewed and treated by the church?

How was the child “better known as a bastard” accepted in a Christian community and by his or her peers?

Ponder these questions and if you were a teenager before 1973 you will remember. My point is that the church was silent when it came to having answers. She the church, us, we, me, and I failed to pray but had much to say in secret in gossip and backbiting the young ladies who felt shame, guilt, and hopelessness. WE HAD NO ANSWER!

Time heals they say, but time has not healed this wound only the loving Jesus will pull that off, and we desperately need Him to lead us now. He is supposed to be in charge of the church right?

Our nation is in moral shambles, our economy is a wreck the church is seen as a joke, our minister’s are no longer even treated with respect. My how times have changed in my 46 years yet the church at large hasn’t noticed.

We my friends need a great awakening in this nation, or the salt that we are supposed to be may be cast out.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

In 1979 at 17 years old I married Dianna 9 days later our son David was born. I finished high school while working at night it was hard but we made it. We had some pressure by society to get an abortion but it never was an option. We gave up our goals of college to give David a chance for LIFE and we have never regretted it even for a moment. I believe our struggle gives us not only the right but also the authority to speak on the matter.

I believe we must use a 2-sided coin while dealing with this issue. On one side we must have PASSION for life on the other side we must have Compassion for people involved.

If you have been the cause or participated in an abortion I offer NO condemnation your way. LISTEN we ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God offers forgiveness and will take away your shame. If you are considering abortion slow down and give the Lord time, ADOPTION is a win, win alternative. If you continue on with this article there will be graphic pictures so be warned. When the heart stops beating in the natural Defibrillation is used to shock a person back to life. BE SHOCKED BACK TO LIFE.

Back in the early 1990’s I was at the house of my good friends Bruce and Judy Wachter. Bruce was an Art teacher at a high school in west central Missouri. Bruce took me into His studio to see a painting He had done on the horrors of abortion. It was grotesque and shocking. It was in your face and demanded a response. I have wondered for years what happened to that painting. Several weeks ago I asked Bruce and He loaned it to me for DEFIBRILLATION.

On the way to His house I was heading down the road and saw an exit sign for Horton Missouri. I pulled off and had my wife take my picture by it seeing we had just taken our grandson NOAH to see Horton hears a WHO at the movies and I thought it would be cool to get the picture.

When I stepped out I had thoughts rushing into my head. The thought that my friend and pastor at the time Dave Christian, “The man from Kansas City mentioned below” had sent a prophetic word to Lou Engle VIA our mutual pastor friend Alan Koch. It was a word that Dave had preached at church but believed later it had national implication about abortion. When Lou received the email it was confirmation to Him and is now common knowledge among us LIFERS.

Here is the story.

This is an excerpt taken from Lou Engle’s word originally posted on 3/3/07:

If you hang around the Dream King,
You get into His dream stream,
You join yourself to His dream team,
And you do the Martin Luther King thing.

This was the poem of our heart when we launched the Justice House of Prayer (JHOP) in DC. A band of young people dared to dream and pray that another great move of justice would roll down like the waters of justice that swelled and swept away segregation in the days of that great prophet Martin Luther King, Jr. Now, once again, like the sound of many waters, God is shouting: “I have a dream! Let the unborn go free! Let them be conceived in liberty, and let them be adopted in infancy.”

God is communicating His big dream of ending abortion in a most profound way through the dream stream story of Horton Hears A Who by Dr. Seuss. In February 2005, one of our youth, a 15-year-old girl at the Justice House of Prayer, had a dream. In the dream she saw a large, beautiful building with the words “The Who” appearing over it. She and her sisters entered the house and began to look throughout the building until they found the attic where there was a series of old books from the past that they knew would be needed for the future. She shared her dream with the JHOP team. I knew the dream was from God, but I wondered, “What is ‘The Who,’ and what are these old books?”

The next morning while pondering the dream, I received a remarkable email from a man in Kansas City that included a sermon he gave several years ago on what must occur for abortion to end. He felt led to send it to me, even though he thought it was unusual that the analogy the Lord had given him was based on the Dr. Seuss book, Horton Hears a Who. When I read this, I instantly connected “The Who” in the dream with “The Who” in the book. I was immediately interested!

In this children’s book written in 1954, we find an elephant whose name is Horton. He is the prophetic Church with big ears and a large trumpet. He can hear what no one else can hear–the sound of these little people called, The Whos, who live in the microscopic town of Who-ville.

In the book, we also find a kangaroo who wants to kill all the little Whos, because he cannot see or hear them. He doesn’t believe they exist. Immediately the thought came to me, “The kangaroo is the kangaroo court!”–it stands for the Supreme Court who issued the death decree of ’73 in Roe v Wade, and legalized abortion. Wow! I realized that what I was reading was a parable from the past that was now going to be used en masse, for the ending of abortion. The theme of the whole book amazingly is, “A person’s a person, no matter how small!” And the remedy for the crisis is that every voice must be raised loudly and urgently to rescue all the little unborn Whos. With the kangaroo’s death decree hanging over Who-ville, Horton implores the mayor “to CALL a big meeting, get everyone out, make every Who holler, make every Who shout!”

Graciously, The ElijahList blasted this story February 16, 2005. Amazingly, the next day I received an email from a woman who said she read The ElijahList article and received three confirmations the following day at her Day Care Center. One child came in with a Horton Hears A Who backpack, a second was carrying a Who-ville doll, but the third–a ten-year-old boy–came to her and said, “Ma’am, I had a dream last night. I dreamt of Horton Hears a Who, and all the little Whos were not saying YOPP; they were crying STOP!!!”

Oh, my God, there is a massive cry being raised up from the young ones of the earth, praying and prophesying, “STOP ABORTION, STOP! STOP! STOP!!!!!!!!!!” What are the chances of this divine confirmation? Those who read this are now held accountable. The whole Church must cry out now–STOP ABORTION!

Soon after, another man connected with me and said, “My ten-year-old daughter was reading Horton Hears A Who to her little brother.” She came to her father and said, “Dad, I think this book is about ending abortion.” That afternoon, he read The Elijah List article on Horton Hears a Who. This man now leads our Bound4LIFE ministry.

Again, amazingly, we found out that Fox Movies is doing a major motion picture in 2008, called, Horton Hears A Who, starring Jim Carrey (update, this movie opens up this Friday, March 14, 2008).

The Lord is SHOUTING to the nation! Will we have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying?

A great convergence is upon us. If the Church understands the times and what God is seeking to bring forth, we can shout to the nation, before the movie comes out, that Horton Hears a Who is about the ending of abortion–so when millions of people watch the movie, they will all be thinking, “A person’s a person, no matter how small–The Whos are the unborn!”

Can you see it? This is God’s trumpet to the nation! God is marching out, shattering ideologies, and moving His great Mind and Heart into the earth. He moves the media and makes it His pawn. Oh, the brilliant Wisdom of God! He takes a book out of the archives of history that millions have read since 1954, pulls it out, and slams it into the present through a movie. The light penetrates the lie, the armor of the strongman is stripped away, the demon is named, and can now be cast out!

Oh God, we need a national exorcism of this spirit of death that has ruled over us for 34 years! Every voice must be counted. Buy the book! Spread it around! Start children’s prayer meetings to end abortion! Support crisis pregnancy centers! May your voice be heard in your voting. Pray for Jim Carrey to be radically saved–he could shout to the world, “This movie is about ending abortion!”

A young woman had a dream knowing nothing of the movie or Jim Carrey’s involvement. She dreamt that Jim Carrey was a Christian and that he was carrying a briefcase with two books in it. The first one was called, Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting, by Derek Prince, and the second one was a book called, Mobilizing The Army of God. Could this man and this movie mobilize a pro-life army of young people who will fast and pray for justice?

The front page of Time Magazine (last year, 2007) showed a hand with four different-sized fetuses resting on it. The article is saying that there are more crisis pregnancy centers than there are abortion clinics in America, and that abortion is at its lowest rate since the beginning years of when abortion was legalized. In the same magazine, there is an article about Jim Carrey, and he is seeking spiritual enlightenment, but doesn’t know Jesus yet. Save him, God!!!

“It is time for all the Whos who have blood that is red to come to the aid of their country, he said.” Suddenly, Dr. Suess kicks out of Who-ville and into national prophecy, not even knowing it. Christians must come to the aid of America carrying the Blood of Jesus, which alone can wash away our sins. It is not enough that Jesus died; the Blood must be applied to the doorposts of our national guilt. Oh, that millions of Christians would plead, “Jesus, I plead Your Blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. The YOPPS Must Be Heard

The voices of Jo-Jos just bouncing their yo-yos must now be heard. The Jo-Jos are Christians who are enjoying their comfortable careers, but are oblivious to the crisis. They are the youth in our Church youth groups who play with their iPods and who browse in their Windows. While living for entertainment, they have no idea that they were meant to be a part of God’s great movement to end abortion! Their voices must be heard now!!! Let Myspace® and You Tube™ become their Eieffelberg towers from which they shout out their YOPPS and their STOPS.

Why would God give this dream stream to a group of young people who pray everyday in front of the Supreme Court calling on God to raise up righteous judges who will reverse Roe v Wade? To encourage hearts and release a movement through their prayers! So that it will be said:

“How true, yes, how true,” said the big kangaroo, “and from now on you know what I am planning to do? From now on I am going to protect them with you!”

Brothers and sisters, let us believe that the Supreme Court will protect all the unborn little Whos, that God’s big dream will come true, and that all the Whos’ dreams could come true too.

It is profound that in the dream, the young lady saw not just one book, but a series of old books needed for the future. Read Horton Hatches an Egg. It is about a bird who wants to go play, rather than sit on her egg. So Horton, the elephant again, sits on the egg until the egg hatches. When the egg hatches, out comes, not a little baby bird, but an elephant with wings.

The moral of the story is this: he who cares for the unwanted child–that child will take on the nature of the one who cared for it. It is the spirit of adoption! God is calling the Church to adopt and care for the unwanted children in the nation. We have got to be Jesus’ love answer. We can’t just be pro-birth we must be pro-life!

Let the prophetic Church arise and carry the heart of Heaven! Let them hear The Call for united fasting and prayer on behalf of those who have no voice! Let the prophetic Church hear what the world can’t hear, and may they blow the trumpet once again, declaring, “God has a dream, and we have His dream, and millions will be mobilized to become the river of justice rolling down again…”

Well last night I was on my way to a prayer meeting about abortion at Dave and Ruth Christian’s house when I felt the Lord drop a word deep in my heart it was this.

what? another DR Seuss parallel, YES, I instantly remembered the painting Bruce had given me, and OLD UNCLE SAM at the center of it all. We have a government of the people and by the people and for the people.

that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain — that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth “Abe Lincoln : portion from The Gettysburg Address about life lost in war”


Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

We as a Nation have become like God knowing good and evil yet we have called evil good and good evil. I believe judgment begins in the house of God and we are entering into that season. If we “the church repent” then there is hope for our Nation.

Are you “yopping?”

When I sent the email to Lou it was because he had spoken at my church about the involvement of Christian youth in the Pro-life movement. I remembered the word the Lord had given me from “Horton Hears a Who” and that it was a child whose “yopp” put the cry for survival over the top. This speaks of the absolute need for EVERYONE to speak out. Regarding the life of the unborn, we must each contribute our unique “sound” as though that may be the one thing needed before our nation can hear the cry of the unwanted unborn. In the story, it was Jo Jo’s yopp that broke through the sound barrier and enabled everyone in the Jungle of Nool, even the kangaroo, to hear the voices and declare, “A person’s a person no matter how small.”

A friend of mine once saw a vision above my head. It was the acronym, N.O.O.L. and stood for “National Outcry Overturns Law.” I am told that a member of the Supreme Court recently sent a message to those praying for life outside the Court building asking, “Where’s the outcry? There should be millions instead of so few” (paraphrase). That is the question I ask of you. “Where’s the outcry?”

“Outcry” is a vehement or loud cry; a cry of distress; a strong or noisy opposition or protest. “Vehement” is acting or moving with great force; fervent; passionate; intense. Does this describe your voice for the unborn? I must confess with remorse that it does not describe mine. I am Jo Jo. I am preoccupied with my own yo-yo. What about you? I invite you to join me as I cast aside distractions and excuses and begin to take action on what God has called me to do on behalf of the most innocent of all.

As I see it, there are two directions of outcry: towards people and towards God. The outcry to God is the most important. We see in the bible that God responds when His people cry out against sin and suffering. He will bring healing to our land if we pray passionately. Likewise, we must cry out with a clear and fervent voice to our family, friends and society. If we do not join in this outcry, I fear that the judgment of God will fall suddenly and decisively upon our nation. We will then recognize our sin; even the sin of passivity but it will be too late to save ourselves from destruction. The “American Dream” will come to an end and God’s perfect will for our nation will be passed to another. The Church will no longer be encumbered with sin and distractions. We will see God more clearly but the season of our prosperity and peace will be over. This is not the way it has to be.

Let us cast aside everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Let us consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that we will not grow weary and lose heart.

Let us contend for the life of the unborn, even those unwanted by their mother and father. Let us by enveloped by the Spirit of adoption and become like God – a father to the fatherless. We can do it! The United States of America is the greatest nation on earth; I consider it the greatest earthly nation of all times. Our fathers halted the atrocity of slavery and have made huge strides towards ending the injustices of racial prejudice. Let our generation be the one that stops the slaughter of the unborn. Let us grant them personhood and all of the protection and freedom granted by God and recognized by our constitution. After all, a person’s a person no matter how small.



Moloch was one of the false gods that Israel would worship during its periods of apostasy. This false deity is associated with Ammon in 1 Kings 11:7, “Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable idol of Moab, on the mountain which is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the detestable idol of the sons of Ammon.”

One of the practices of the cult that worshipped Moloch was to sacrifice their children. Of course, this was forbidden by God’s word: Lev. 18:21 says, “Neither shall you give any of your offspring to offer them to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.” (See also Lev. 18:21; 20:2-5; 2 Kings. 23:10; Jer. 32:35).
In some passages the reference is clearly to a deity to whom human sacrifice was made, particularly in the Valley of Hinnom on the SW of the Jerusalem hill (2 Ki. 23:10; Je. 32:35) at a site known as Topheth (‘fire pit’ in Syriac).

The ancients would heat this idol up with fire until it was glowing, then they would take their newborn babies, place them on the arms of the idol, and watch them burn to death. I can’t help but compare today’s abortion massacre to the sacrifice of children by these ancient pagans. In both, innocent life is destroyed for the gain of the parent.


Update 9 years later 1/28/2017

Just last week the tide is turning, apathy seems to be a thing of the past. It is a time for Radical and it is on both sides of the debate. New President Donald Trump has promised conservative supreme court justices. If that happens Roe vs Wade could be overturned and that has sparked marches in DC on both sides of the issue. All eyes are open now!
